The graphic, Our Constitution and You, shows how you are an owner of government.
- The Constitution is a contract written by our Forefathers.
- We the People ratified the Constitution making it a binding contract between We the People.
- We the People own the Constitution and all it creates.
- The Constitution created an organization we call the government.
- We the People are responsible and accountable for what we own.
- You are one of We the People.
The graphic, Our Economy and You, shows how you are the American economy.
- As an employee you earn money from an employer.
- As a consumer you have money to spend because you are an employee.
- Companies that sell things, the goods and service providers, get your money which creates jobs.
- Are those American or foreign jobs? That depends on how you spent your money. If you spent it in a way that gets back to your employer you've helped your paycheck.
- Businesses don't create jobs, consumers do. Do you help or hurt your job?
In the middle is taxes. Every time money changes hands the government gets a cut. ALL of the money the government gets in taxes comes from your wallet regardless who writes the tax check. You are an owner of government. The government doesn't make the final decision on taxes, you do.
